The MIG programme, sanitation targets and sustainability
This article looks at some of the most significant causes of MIG implementation problems, based on the experience of The Mvula Trust, the largest rural sanitation implementing agency in the country, operating in six provinces. Suggestions are also offered to municipalities, based on the examples of good practice that do exist, for how to get sanitation right – the first time around.
